Possible Dissertation and Thesis Projects in Algebra, Computation, and Logic

I advise students on research in the areas of logic, theoretical computation, and relevant areas of algebra. I am, of course, open to ideas that students want to pursue, but finding a problem on your own can be daunting, and I have several that might be good places to start. I group them here (loosely) into three broad topics:
  1. Big Data Analytics by a Logic Approach
  2. Logical Issues in Algebra and Number Theory
  3. Limits of Computation in Dynamical Systems and Chaos
